Ultrasound guided injections

Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to create a dynamic image of body tissues in real time. It increases the accuracy of injections and allows your doctor to visualize the affected area.

Prolotherapy

This technique stimulates the body’s innate healing response to repair ligaments, tendons, and other connective tissue. Acupuncture needles or injections with substances like procaine and homeopathics are used to encourage the body to form new tissue.

Joint Injections

Joint injections can be used to reduce inflammation, promote repair, and regenerate damaged tissues. We use substances like homeopathics, ozone, and more.

Trigger Point Injections & Acupuncture / Dry Needling

Trigger points, better known as muscle knots, are a major source of pain and weakness. They are a common underlying cause of joint pain and if left untreated, lead to unwanted wear and tear. Trigger point release helps correct the physical and electrical changes in a muscle to improve muscle recruitment (strength) and reduce pain.

Electro-Acupuncture

When acupuncture is combined with low frequency electrical current, the body releases its own neurotransmitters (like opiates, endorphins, enkephalins, and serotonin) leading to profound and long-lasting pain relief. It stimulates proprioceptive nerve fibers in muscles, tendons and joint capsules, increases cellular metabolism, and promotes rapid tissue repair.

Cupping / Myofascial Decompression

Cupping uses gentle suction to stimulate blood flow, reduce pain, and improve fascial mobility. In our clinic, we often combined active movement with cupping along specific muscle groups to bring an active release element to the therapy.

Gua Sha / Fascial Scraping

Gua Sha is an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization technique originating from Chinese medicine. This technique breaks up adhesions, scar tissue, and fascial restrictions, reduces pain, and promotes optimal mobility.

Tui Na / Sports Massage

Tui Na is the traditional Chinese word for massage, meaning to “push” and “grasp.” It incorporates deep tissue compression as well as soft tissue and joint mobilization to rehabilitate muscles, joints and connective tissues. Tui Na can be used to reduce pain, increase mobility, lengthen fascia, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and promote relaxation.

We provide gentle medicine

Our number one priority will always be your complete well-being - mental, physical, and emotional. So, we are as gentle as we can be and are always here to listen and lend a caring hand. Does it hurt? Usually no. You may feel a tiny poke from our needles, but we employ a wide range of integrative tools to minimize your discomfort. From smaller needles to anesthetic numbing solutions, we work together to create a plan that will help you reach your goals as comfortably as possible.
